My niece is the definition of Princess! She loves dressing up and is very sad when she can't wear a dress or skirt for the day. So, I made her a dress for 'every-day.' It is flannel, so nice and cozy for the upcoming winter. The skirt is double layered, with the top skirting pulled up into flounces. I stuffed the upper sleeve with washcloths to show more for the camera that they are 'princess sleeves,' with elastic on the upper as well as lower arm. I know they'll puff when she's actually wearing it.
Even the snaps are colorful :)
Every Princess needs a matching purse! It has an outer and 2 inner pockets.
And finally, I got her some tights to wear with it.
Her birthday isn't until early next month, so I may yet add a few touches here and there. I haven't decided yet... ie possibly a tie around the waist, and maybe snaps for the purse.
