Not too much to show since cameras aren't allowed during the performance... but here she is with the cast.
She was Jamie, the backstage manager for the 'play within the play.'

Sophie's theater end-of-semester performance
Things were a little different this semester. The piece they originally chose ended up taking much longer to prepare, so they decided to whip up a funny piece and read off scripts. They'll do the more difficult piece end of next semester.
This was a play on The 12 Days of Christmas, putting in their teacher's political pet-peeves. It was hilarious. And for part Sophie played her guitar :)

Sophie's 15th, Mother's Day and July 4th
Wow, it's been a while since I updated!!
Tom and I headed out to his annual awards banquet :)
OHMYGOODNESS! My baby is 15yo!!
She was sssooo embarrassed with the hat at LaCabana but it was a yummy dinner :)
Sophie's end of semester performance at theater class. It was a wonderfully funny show about a bunch of teens in a latenight chat room, appropriately called "Insomniacs Society".
Mother's Day at Lifebridge Christian Church. There was a brunch after church.
July 4th. I don't think the hammock was made for 2 teens girls...
Our new party tent. It has walls but we didn't need them.
The hammock is much better suited to a 4yo... LOL!
Sorry, we don't buy top of the line badminton equipment...

A Charlie Brown Christmas (my camera)
I say 'my camera' because I have a disc that I purchased. I plan on getting those pics up at some point too.
She was Schroeder :) Yes, the piano DOES work. She played Fur Elise as well as all versions of Jingle Bells :)
Fans... LOL!!
Cousins came to see :)
These are the directors, Lisa Formosa-Parmigiano and Kathleen Erny Lisa is also Sophie's regular theater class teacher.

Sophie's end of semester performance
Modern take on A Christmas Carol. It was HILARIOUS!!! The setting was a mall. Sophie was Fezziwig, which is the dancing part and also Tiny Tim, which was the sitting listening to the boring story from Pa part.

Pre-Show Festival/Sophie performing the violin
Every year the adult performance of Shakespeare puts on 2 free shows down at Central Park and the Shakespeare Workshop class puts on the pre-show festival. Sophie was in this class this year. She decided to play her violin. I KNOW it's a horrible horrible job I did with the video, but I knew it was going to go quick and I needed to get into a better position. Sorry!!
