The Christmas vacation project for Tom this year was the kitchen trim. YAY!! We're nearly done with the kitchen. You'll see some white spots here and there. Stapling the trim up dislodged some drywall here and there so he spackled the bad parts and when it dries we'll do final paint touch-ups. You'll also see the tile backsplash done!!!! Thanks to my brother Rick. Sorry, the pics with him were taken with my chromebook, the rest were with the real camera. Now, all that's left is the final paint touch-ups and for me to make the curtains!! And, some more red touches here and there :)
The trim that was around the door looked fake. It was real wood but obviously painted way after the original trim in the livingroom and looked nothing like it. So, we (well... I...) decided we needed new door trim too since we (well... Tom...) were doing the floor trim. LOVE! You'll see with the shot of the doorway (with original trim still up) going in to the livingroom it doesn't completely match but it's about as close as we could come and I think it looks great.

Christmas - New Year's Eve 2014
Another year has gone by...
Two things Tom has soooo been begging for, his own homemade Snuggie like the kids' and knitted slippers like his gramma used to make him. Now he's snug and warm :)
Mostly she wanted fan-girl stuff... LOL
What can I say... he's strange...
At my mom's house. Sophie and Grace decided to do a couple duets eventho they couldn't practice together. They did lovely!!
Christian was with Ezra trying to teach him Russian... it was TTOOOO cute!!!
Christian requested fruit salad and cheese cubes and Sophie requested chips and dips. I also made a brisket with Aunt Meleta's recipe. We played games and watched Twilight Zone as usual :)
Bible Pictionary wasn't their favorite.... LOL!!
