She didn't want to model... She chose the fabrics from my 'left-overs' stock. They go togther well enough for jammies :)

Dress for my soon-to-be-10yo Niece
My niece chose the pattern (from my selection of dresses in her size...) and she chose the fabric as well. She said what she'd like, green with white dots, and when my sil took me to the fabric shop for my birthday we texted niece some patterns LOL!! This is actually green with flowers with white centers.
The end of an era...
Well, this is the LAST picture of missing teeth I'll ever take of my children. The last of my baby's baby teeth have fallen out. *tears*
(by the way... she has not brushed her hair today and she was outside playing in the wind when I pulled her aside to take these shots! LOL)

Item #2 for Sophie's upcoming birthday, a satchel
Again, she will not see the finished project until her birthday. She gave me the specifics and I made up the design. It's big enough to fit a few spiral notebooks, which was her main requirement. So, it's slightly larger than a piece of paper, and thick enough to fit around 200 pages, so 3-4 80pg spirals. She really surprised me with fabric choice... I 'thought' when I choosing the fabrics that she'd want the angel kitty as the outside overall with the hearts inside, but she chose opposite. I just don't know her as well as I thought I did... LOL!
The front: It is an over-flap. The angel kitty material is a large pocket. I am going to let her choose what kind of fastener she would like when she gets it. I'm thinking snaps on the sides of the flap... but I will also suggest ties or an all-around strap.

Purse for Sophie's 12th birthday
I chose the fabrics, she chose the pattern and how the fabrics came together. However, I will not let her see the finished project until her birthday (April 6th.)
This is my first zippered purse! *whew* I had only done one other adjustable strap so of course this one was much easier since I knew what to do.
I hope she likes it!!
This is the purse turned inside-out so you can see the lining. There is a pocket on both sides of the interior.

Violin Spring Concert
He was sooooo excited to be able to play that grand piano!!! He accomponied on one song.
Chamber group... The girl in black is from the Venti orchestra (the most advanced group) and the rest are Intermezzo (middle group.) Christian has been asked to apprentice with the Venti!! So, he'll be having regular practice with the Intermezzo AND he'll also have to stay for the Venti practice. He's nervous.
Very short snippet of one of the Intermezzo Orchestra pieces. I was too busy listening to get out the video! LOL
