3rd knitting project

A purse for Sophie.  She chose the yarn.  It's VERY hard to tell in the photo, but the flap is angled on the sides.  I totally failed at pattern-reading!  The main part was okay, but once I got to the flap the pattern just didn't make any sense.  It said keep following established pattern, but there is no way you can do that while decreasing stitches in the rows.  It must be adjusted some how but I'm not knitting-smart enough yet to figure it out.  So, I improvised the flap pattern.
