Christmas at Rebecca's mom's house

Piano concert...  mom teaches several of the grandkids and they give a concert on holidays

It was sooo funny because it was in an American Girl Doll box! LOL

Christmas Morning 2012

I thought I'd go ahead and post Christmas Morning pictures while I'm waiting for the potato casserole to finish baking before we go to mom's.  Apparently we forgot to get Dad in any pics!  OOPS!  Usually I'm the one taking pics and dad is there but I'm not.  This year Sophie took over the camera somewhat.
 Stockings...

Sophie's going to make a GREAT present giver!  She stuffed my slippersocks into a juice bottle to disguise the shape!!
I had asked for a new cabinet for storing fabric
 edible arrangement

Sophie was 'Santa' this year, meaning she is the one who passed out the presents

Just HAD to share the 'leather' boots and purse I just finished

What a PAIN!  But I love them!  The vinyl 'leather' was pretty easy to work with actually... but making shoes in general is a pain.  I lined the purse with some cotton 'hearts' pattern fabric.  It's got fringe to match the boots.  I LOVE them! (don't mind the nightgown she's wearing that I rolled up...)

Christmas presents

A friend wanted to see this year's pile of presents in the fabric 'wrapping' bags.  We don't have our regular tree up because we've recently dealt with fleas and I don't want to risk bringing flea eggs into next Christmas, so we used our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree atop the piano instead.

The kids have no idea what color their presents are tied with.  I do something like this every year, either the same wrapping paper for one kid and a different for another, or the tags will say 'Cutie' and 'Sweetie' instead of their names, or I've even done numbered tags representing each kid.  It's fun, and it keeps them from knowing for sure which are theirs LOL!  Tho, Sophie knows one of these is Christian's cuz it's the biggest and she knew what size box of something he was getting.  *sigh*  oh well... LOL!  She still doesn't know what is hers, cuz daddy has a certain color ribbon too, and there are combined ribbons to represent them all, or just the kids together as well.

Christmas Tea

My sister-in-law had a Christmas Tea.  The girls decorated cookies and made paper tea cups.  They all had a fun time!  It was loud... but fun :)

The pics shown are of the older group, but there was a younger girl group as well.  Each niece go to invite several girls and they sort of segregated themselves! LOL

Latest nightgown set

This is a set for about a 5yo girl and her Bitty Twin.  I don't have a Bitty Twin or Bitty Baby so couldn't model it.  When her mom came to pick them up she said they're even cuter than she had hoped.  I said good! LOL (she came over to choose the fabrics...)

Sophie's theater performance

Color NOT good... And only one of the performance...  But it was basically a class showcase, not a real performance.  She had fun!

Disney World PhotoPass (Disney post 1 of 3)

PhotoPass is a system where they take your picture with their cameras and scan a card (like a credit card)  that you carry around.  You hand them your same card every time to scan and at the end of your trip you can download all the photos they took of you all at once. (for a fee of course... but if you prebuy there is a good discount).  I didn't actually like all that many of the photos they took, but I did like several.  Here are about 1/3 of the photos on the PhotoPass:

Our very first day out in front of Magic Kingdom.  You can tell it's our first day because we're wearing long sleeves! LOL  We didn't need to wear long sleeves the rest of the trip.

I used this one above as our Christmas card this year :)
